Opening Paragraph Sample - Angela POV
It’s nearly time to scatter, to retreat into the shadows and brace ourselves for the promised upheavals. The winds of change are upon us, signalling the demise of an era. Today marks the beginning of the end for The Four. Following the clash on Clenious, Marious has led me to this sombre temple, which exudes a dullness that suffocates me. A place devoid of training grounds or melodies, except for the mindless humdrum that permeates the air. It feels like an utter waste of precious time. I yearn to hone my skills and join my brothers in the raging war, yet I find myself bound to the whims of Ke’lina.
